Talent Acquisition Specialist

Seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist (Ideally located in BC)
The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is a multi-faceted position with a focus on the Senior talent roles, and the delivery of a diverse range of recruitment services, providing responsive and professional support to clients and team members. Specializing in all types of recruitment activities, this role provides critical support to the Talent Acquisition Team.
To thrive in this role, you will need to have:
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for senior-level positions, collaborating closely with hiring managers to define requirements and expectations.
Develop and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies to identify and engage top talent in the industry.
Conduct in-depth candidate assessments, including interviews and evaluations, to ensure alignment with our organizational culture and values.
Foster strong relationships with candidates and provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
Partner with internal stakeholders to understand workforce planning and talent needs, providing strategic guidance on talent acquisition initiatives.
Continuously evaluate and improve our recruitment processes and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition, applying this knowledge to inform and improve our strategies.
Skills Needed:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on senior-level recruitment.
Proven track record of successfully recruiting and onboarding senior talent in a competitive market.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
Spotting the diamond in the rough even when it’s buried and attracting them like a moth to a flame.
Persuading top talents to choose us (and our clients) over other companies and turning awkward salary negotiations into a graceful tango of compromise.
Predicting future hiring trends with uncanny accuracy.
Juggle more “caring” acronyms than you ever thought possible: NGO, CSR, NPO, and a dash of TLC.
A keen sense of humour to keep everyone laughing, even when faced with a pile of rejected resumes.
